Been a while since the last update, sigh. A lot has happened. Grandma passed away last wednesday which is a sad thing for my dad and my uncle rod. My dad especially because he hasn't had any time to himself because of having to deal with taking care of Grandma. God bless her soul.

Last week I didn't really do too much, nothing I can really remember. Except for the fact that I had school as usual that week. But this week I can remember more

Monday - Regular school day. One of the last two days we could study and work on stuff in our regular class and tech class. For physics, we were studying chapter 5, Kinetic energy/mechanical energy/power equations. It seemed easy and I would be able to pass that final on wednesday. Government, we were studying sections on the judicial system, congress and court cases. English, we were working on rewriting one of our essays for our final worksample. And in MCT, we we were taking apart and putting back together our teardown computers. My teardown SUCKED!!! It has always had a CMOS checksum error whenever it booted, and the boot priority was always "C, CDROM, A", so you could never start it up from a floppy or CD-ROM. I got it apart, nuked the hd, put it back together, and tired to reinstall windows only to get owned and not able to access the A drive OR CD-Drive. That does it for that day

Tuesday - Just the same old stuff, studying for finals, trying to get my DAMN COMPUTER TO WORK. I finally got it to work through some sort of miracle at the end of 8th period. Of course that means I would only get half credit on my sheet because my computer gave me the shaft. But hey at least I got it done. After school I headed off to bowling practice to get some practice before the tournament on sunday. I improved a lot that day it seems and I think i'll be in good shape for the tournament tomorrow "Sunday"

Wednesday - Had my Physics and my First MCT final. I got shafted on the physics test. Seriously. I looked at the test and didnt know what the hell to do at all for half of the problems. Usually its not that big of an issue for me, but this time it was and I got served. MCT on the other hand, I was the 2nd person done with the test. Easiest final ever made.

Thursday - Only government for that day. Government was easy too! I was so happy cause I was dreading this final because of the way dittmer makes his tests. However the final seemed easier then anything else i've ever taken in his class. I actually knew the stuff!! Maybe it's because of the review we did the other day, or the hour and half I did for studying. But I GOT ER DUN!!1

Friday - LAST FINALS!!! English and last MCT final. English was easy. Writing a reflective essay about all the other essays we did that semeseter. The test was supposed to take up the whole period. I finished it in 20 minutes. Hopefully that might raise my grade up to an A, but if it doesnt, I still get a good grade. The last MCT final was easy. Just fill in essay type questions. Then we had to clean off our workstations, which was easy. Once I did that I went home early!! w00t

After I got home, I had to pack up for newblan. A LAN I would only be there for about half of due to grandmas funeral being the next day at noon. Cmarc and his mom came to pick me up. We loaded up the car, got seated in and headed out to n00berg!

Never has mapquest lied so much in directions, I'm contemplating never using it again.

We got the armory a half hour late CAUSE MAP QUEST SUCKS DONKEY VAGINA. So we helped setup chairs and tape down power cords. After that we just situated ourselves where ever and just had good times. I played a lot of DC and UT and CoD. Tried some BFME and it got so BORING the game me and jmart played. The team we played against used the same tactics over and over again the game got so boring me and jmart ended up forfitting. Besides BFME, there was some poker and holdem going on at a table in the corner, So I, with my professional knowledge of card games, went to play some.

Around 5:00am, me and jmart decided to crash in the bed of bugs truck, so I actually did get some sleep contrary to what I thought, that I wouldnt get any sleep at all

Saturday - Woke up around 9:00am, came back in to see everyone was still out. Played some games till 12:00pm when cousin nancy came to pick me up and take me back to portland for Grandma's funeral. When we got to the church around 1:15ish, I had to go upstairs to change into some better clothes that my mom brought with her. From there until 2:00pm, I was handing out programs to everyone entering the church. At 2:00pm, the service started. Rod came up to start the rememberences and go over facts about grandma's life. After that, everyone who wanted to say something came up and shared their experiences with the crowd of 200+ people.

After the service ended, we all went into the parish hall for some food and drinks. I went into the nursery because, at the same time as the funeral, there was a church sponsered event going on as well, the anuall bishops ball. However instead of 50 people at the one I was at two years ago with Olivia, there were only like, 17 people. Oh yeah speaking of Olivia, she turned 18 today :D. Congrats to her. Can't wait for my 18th birthday....... Awww yeah, gunna be good times.

Around 3:30ish, I got a ride home from my cousin with my computer in the back, came home, setup and here I am. I crashed on the couch for a few hours to regain some sleep. And now here I am

So here we are, the end of the week. Whats to happen next?

Once again, two weeks or more has passed. A lot has happened but a lot i've lost cause my hard drive died after LAN-I-AM on January 8th. Oh yeah, so if you dont know, which is most likely impossible because its in my sig in PDXLAN. 2005 is shafting me with broken hardware so far. Lets name it all

My graphics card fan is dead, so the card overheats after time
My 60 gig hard drive died, just doesnt work at all, period anymore for no reason
My stock 420w power supply blew up while I was playing stepmania. Luckily nothing was damaged.
Windows keeps messing up regularly and during Infernalan, my hard drive rebooted for no reason while I was in a game ... "Props to suntar for pointing that out, was busy playing BFME, so it was probably my 80 gig"

Seriously. All of this has happened within a 3 week time frame. It's not looking good. It all started when moving everything from my old case into my new one. But whatever. This needs to stop otherwise i'll have to get a job to afford replacing all my broken hardware.

So basically what I can remember from the past few weeks is this. I went to Lan-I-Am on january 8th. Had an ok time. Didnt really do too much. Steam was being gay and refused to play in offline mode so I couldnt play anything related to HL2. I played some desert combat, a game of BFME with ramrod and some carball. Also got in some BFV, but not that much. It was an ok LAN, not as good as the ones in the past.

Vippers hard drive for the file server died when he got his computer setup. It was a IBM deskstar so that sucked, no files for us. Ironicly, Blargs deskstar in his Xbox died a few weeks ago as well. I was bragging to blarg that my deskstar "My 60 gig" hasnt died in the 3 years since I had it.

Funny how karma has a way of biting you in the ass when you least expect it.

Came home, turned on the comp. It wouldnt load. Tried switching IDE channels, reseting the jumpers, put it in another computer. Nothing. The hard drive was toast.

The rest of the week I just did the normal things. School and what not. Thursday I went with chris to New hope with his youth group. We chilled out, ate food and listened to people speak. Also played some Xbox so it was all good. We had to move everything out of the youth room cause they were going to put carpet all over it, so that took about an hour.

This weekend I went up with Notoes and Pacmain "Kyle and Alex" to Seattle/Tacoma for infernalan. It was a lot of fun. We stayed at Bug "Kerry"'s house for the two days we were there. Great times. Friday we unpacked and just got ready for bed. We played a few games of Texas Holdem and I was apparently Destroying. I never really played Texas holdem for real until then, so I was still uncertain of how to really play. I got the hang of it after a few games and in the end, me and bug were left. It ended in a tie because I was too tired to go on considering it was 3:00 am and we had to be at the intel campus by 8:00am ish. So we all went to bed

The next day we set off to the intel campus in dupont. We got there and we had to check in with security and get our badges. After that we brought everything in and started the whole LAN. Bug had to go pick up suntar so I decided to go with him, because remember, I had to reinstall windows. I had to do that because my copy wanted to immediatly become activated for no reason. So I borrowed his OEM version and hoped that would work. We went down to olympia to pick him up and wow, he has a nice place. It's right near the bay area, nice log house, perfect place to live in my opinion. After we got him and his comp we headed back to the campus. On the way back we saw a car bite it on the freeway. It was speeding on icy roads and it started to skid, it flew off the road and right into the median. Silly women driving SUV's.

The LAN went on from there once we all got there. Come 7:00, the raffle came. I didnt win anything, just the goodie bag we were all given. Notoes won another 2.8 proc, by another I mean one in a box. He has a 2.8 below his audio deck in his car. Come 3:00 am, it was time to leave for Bugs for sleep.

We got there, and just passed out. We were exhauseted. We all woke up around 12:15ish. We all took a shower, then we headed off back to portland. Before leaving, we stopped at Hooters "w00t!!" for some food real quick. I never really had been there before so it was cool. So after that, we just hit the road until we got to portland. Got back to my place, got everything hooked back up and here I am

New Years is upon us. Sigh, my last year in the public school system. In more ways then one, this is a great thing, cause i'm tired of PPS' crappy educational system. Lets go over what I did for winter break.

Most of the time during winter break I just chilled out at home and played games online or talked to people. I went to 2 LANs. KYLJAM as stated before, and a LAN at chris' house two days ago.

I also went with Chris to the avalon monday to play some DDR along with some other games as well. After that me and him went downtown to meet some of his friends and chill with them while we got some coffee. They seemed like nice people and I made a good impression on them I think so that was good.

Grandma was admitted to good samaratin hospital on wednesday because of some complications. Turned out she was admitted to the intensive care unit, so our whole family was down there for almost the whole afternoon worried. Since then, she's now been transfered to the cardiac unit. She's slowing dying, and I expect she wont be with us within the next month or so. So that's sad news to report :(

2005....
The year that will motivate me to leave the realm of my house in portland, and step out into the world.
